Two things have been true for the last decade: organic cotton costs more than conventional cotton, and the apparel industry hasn't published the full step-by-step cost in a way that a brand sourcing manager can use directly. Most published cost data is either wrapped in trade-association confidentiality, presented in percentage terms ("organic premium 18-25%") that don't help negotiation, or stuck behind trade show paywalls.
